The WAND computer-controlled anaesthesia
At Bianco, local anaesthesia is given with The WAND computer-controlled system. The device delivers the anaesthetic slowly and at a steady pressure, so for most patients the injection itself and the delivery feel gentler than with a standard syringe. This makes a real difference, especially for people who are anxious about injections.
What will feel numb?
That depends on the type of anaesthesia, which we choose for each procedure:
- Intraligamentary (single-tooth) – only the treated tooth and the gum around it are numb, with no numbness of the cheek or tongue.
- Infiltration – the area around the tooth and the cheek go numb.
- Nerve block (lower teeth) – the cheek and tongue go numb, which is expected.
We use The WAND for fillings, root canal treatment and prosthetic work. Price: 90 PLN.
