Onlays / overlays
Onlays and overlays are indirect restorations that rebuild a tooth with a large cavity or damage while preserving as much of its own tissue as possible. They are made of ceramic or composite from a digital scan of your teeth and bonded to the tooth.
What they offer:
- Rebuilding larger defects – when a filling would be too large and weak, but the tooth is still stable.
- Strengthening the tooth – the restoration covers and supports weakened cusps, so you can bite and chew normally.
- Natural appearance – shape and shade are matched to your own teeth.
- Less drilling than a crown – only the damaged part is replaced, not the whole outer surface of the tooth.
Onlays, overlays and occlusal veneers are also a key part of restoring worn teeth using the EFP protocol. Price: 4000 PLN (composite or ceramic).
