Dental implants
An implant is a titanium post that replaces the root of a lost tooth. A crown, bridge or denture is attached to it – without preparing the healthy neighbouring teeth.
Who provides treatment? The consultation, treatment plan and prosthetic restoration are provided by Dr Joanna Chodorowska. Surgical procedures are performed by an oral surgeon. Call us – reception will arrange an appointment and explain the next steps: +48 735 967 875.
What treatment involves
- Implant consultation (350 PLN) – examination, assessment of the bone on X-rays and a discussion of the options: implant, bridge or another solution. If a CBCT scan is needed, we refer you to a trusted imaging centre and view the result online.
- Preparation – treating teeth and gums, sometimes bone grafting.
- Implant placement under local anaesthesia – the price is set after the consultation.
- Healing – usually a few months.
- Crown on the implant – made by Dr Chodorowska. The prosthetic part usually costs 4500–4800 PLN; for non-standard solutions it can reach approx. 6000 PLN.
Can anyone have an implant? Most adults – yes. We decide after an examination; the amount of bone, general health and smoking all matter.
How long does the whole treatment take? From placement to crown, usually a few months. You will get an exact schedule in your treatment plan.
COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT
A single treatment is often part of a larger treatment plan. If several teeth are affected, it is best to start with a comprehensive consultation – the result is a plan with stages and costs. Prices for selected treatments are in our price list.
