DENTIST IN WILANÓW, WARSAW

Dental physiotherapy

Dental physiotherapy focuses on the jaw joints, the chewing muscles and the surrounding area of the face and neck. It can help with jaw pain, clicking joints, limited mouth opening, tension headaches and clenching.

At Bianco we work with a trusted physiotherapist to whom we refer patients. The physiotherapist assesses your medical history, jaw movement and muscle tension and plans therapy tailored to you.

What therapy may include

  • Manual therapy – massage, stretching and joint mobilisation to reduce pain and improve range of movement.
  • Therapeutic exercises – to relax and balance the chewing muscles.
  • Relaxation techniques – including breathing exercises to reduce muscle tension and stress.
  • Education – habits and self-care techniques that help maintain the results.

Book a consultation

Dental physiotherapy can be used on its own or alongside dental treatment such as a relaxation splint or restoration of worn teeth using the EFP protocol. At the consultation we will check whether the cause lies in the teeth and bite and, if needed, refer you to the physiotherapist we work with.

COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT

A single treatment is often part of a larger treatment plan. If several teeth are affected, it is best to start with a comprehensive consultation – the result is a plan with stages and costs. Prices for selected treatments are in our price list.
